吴昌旭教授2007年毕业于美国密歇根大学安阿伯分校工业与运筹工程学系。博士毕业后在美国纽约州立大学、美国亚利桑那大学历任助理教授、副教授、和终身正教授,并于2020年入选高层次人才计划全职回国成为清华大学长聘正教授。 吴昌旭教授长期从事人因工程学(人机工程学)的教学和研究工作,致力于将认知科学与工程系统设计相结合,特别是将人类认知系统建模及其在系统设计中的应用,提高人在系统中的安全、绩效、和宜人性。
吴教授已在Psychological Review, Ergonomics, IEEE Trans. HMS, IEEE Trans. ITS, ACM
Transactions 等重要国际刊物和会议上发表论文130余篇,并入选斯坦福大学发布第6版全球前2%“年度影响力学者榜单”(World’s Top 2% Scientists 2022)

研究和教学总结
吴博士致力于将认知科学与工程系统设计相结合,特别是将人类认知系统建模(modeling human
cognition system)
及其在系统设计中的应用,提高交通安全(transportation
safety),在以用户为中心的人机交互(human-machine interaction)
中提高人的绩效,并发明了具有创新性的可持续智能能源系统(smart energy systems)。
总体而言,吴博士总共有130多篇论文(publications),被引用(citations)超过2637次(参见他的谷歌学术主页),
包括94篇同行评议的期刊论文,36篇会议论文,2本书的章节以及2项授权专利。
吴博士的研究得到了NSF、NIH、UTRC/DOT和Cisco的支持。吴博士悉心培养学生,为他们提供系统的研究训练,
毕业生中已有十名博士成为知名大学的老师和知名企业的研究人员。
